Someone successfully completed his first round of seminary. ❤️😀🎓 . . If you only knew his journey, but that’s not my testimony to share. I’ll just say that I’m extremely proud of my husband for remaining true to what God has for him. He isn’t afraid to go against the grain and do things differently. He doesn’t care what other people think about him. He is as humble as humble can get. . . I salute him for taking on and successfully completing this challenge all while growing and maintaining the success of his business, being a devoted servant leader, being a hands-on father, and being a great husband. He totally rocks! . . And just an FYI the people cropped out are my in-laws out of respect as my account is not private. And I did intentionally blur my husband’s name for privacy reasons. 😀

Took a break from braiding other people’s hair to braid my own. It took 8 hours but well worth it.❤️ . . In other news, my son decided he wanted to take his last test today. He scored a 95%, so I guess that means we’re free to enjoy the summer!

Learning about rose tulips so we can keep these flowers alive as long as possible.😆 🌷🌷 . . We have one more test to take next week and this dude will be free to enjoy summer vacation. During the summer we like to find new things to learn about on our down time. Looks like plant nursing may be one of them? We’ll see! 😀

This quote alone sums up why I do what I do. Our lifestyle may not be for everyone but it’s for us. I’m not on here (social media) to make a name for myself, but to encourage those who God has called to take on the ministry of homeschool. . . To all the parents who feel that nudge to homeschool, you don’t need patience, discipline, a college degree, or anything else you think you lack. All you need is commitment. Be committed to grow in patience and discipline. Be committed to lead your children to the joys of learning. Be committed to growing spiritually. . . I will never say it’s easy. But, if you are committed, you will experience your family in new and exciting ways. You will learn together, grow together, and strengthen together. 😀

Hands on botany at the Anderson Homeschool. 🌿 . . The boys are doing a great job taking care of their “plants” aka grass, lol. This is such an easy low maintenance project to accompany plant science lessons. . . We’ve already covered plant science so it was nice to see how much they remembered from those lessons. We used Carson-Dellosa’s interactive science notebooks as our curriculum base. . . Don’t forget to take advantage of the Teachers Appreciation sale happening at Nike Anderson’s Classroom.
